Ganguly’s Advice to Rohit: Ganguly has advised Rohit to concentrate on the Asia Cup rather than the India VS Pakistan GAME.
“I am seeing it as the Asia Cup. I do not see any tournament as India vs Pakistan. When I used to be in my playing days, India vs Pakistan was just another match for me. I always looked to win the tournament.
“India are a good team and they have done very well in the recent times and hopefully they team will give a good performance in the Asia Cup as well,” Ganguly added.
India and Pakistan to meet in Group Stage: Arch-rivals India and Pakistan will first lock horns on Sunday, August 28 as they will meet for the 15th time in the Asia Cup. India currently lead the head-to-head 8-5.
The third team in the GROUP will be a Qualifier from the region. The qualifiers for the Asia Cup will take place before the main tournament as six teams will be divided into two groups.
Both teams will play a qualifier in their 2nd GROUP Match.
