Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh gave a befitting reply to Rohit Sharma's critics by rating his former teammate’s captaincy highly on social media amidst the scathing criticism of his leadership.
Rohit has been heavily criticized by former cricketers and fans for his poor form with the bat and some of his poor captaincy decisions after the Indian cricket team failed to win the Asia Cup 2022 and the T20 World Cup 2022.
However, he has won bilateral series at home against New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies.
While the veteran opener’s poor form with the bat continues, Team India is still struggling to return to winning ways under Rohit after their failure in the multi-nation events, as they suffered yet another defeat on the ongoing Bangladesh tour.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh gave Rohit Sharma's captaincy a 10 out of 10 rating despite the recent string of disappointing results and calls for change in India’s T20I captaincy.

However, India’s 2011 World Cup-winning all-rounder’s judgment is not entirely wrong, as Rohit has so far led Team India in 70 matches in all three formats of the game and went on to win 54 of those with a decent winning percentage of 77.14.
The right-hander has a good record in ODI cricket, having led India to 13 wins out of 17 matches. Rohit’s captaincy record in T20I cricket is even better, leading the Men in Blue to the most number of wins (won 39 matches out of 51 T20Is, lost 12) after MS Dhoni and one more than Virat Kohli.
