Another ODI win in Dhaka would give them back-to-back ODI series wins over India at home. The Tigers won the last ODI series 2-1 that they played against India at home in 2015.
Litton Das is leading the Bangladesh side while Rohit Sharma is back as the Indian skipper for the series. Both teams are missing a few of their senior players due to injuries. However, Bangladesh despite their absence managed to shock India in the BAN vs IND first ODI. This was after they recently lost to India in the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup earlier this year.

India with their powerhouse batting lineup were bowled out for just 186. The senior players all made a comeback into the team for the series. Rohit Sharma (27) Shikhar Dhawan (7) and Virat Kohli (9) were dismissed cheaply at the top which broke the back of the Indian batting lineup.
KL Rahul was the lone fighter for India as he scored 73 off 70 deliveries. Shakib Al Hasan took his career-best of 5 for 36 in the game and became the first left-arm spinner to take five wickets against India in ODIs.

Skipper Litton Das gave the Tigers a head start in the chase scoring 41 runs. The Indian bowlers made a comeback into the game as Mohammed Siraj picked up 3/32. Kuldeep Sen on his ODI debut picked up two wickets and Washington Sundar also picked up two.
However, it was the partnership between Mehidy Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman that took them to a memorable win in the BAN vs IND first ODI and shocked the Indian team. At 136 for 9 in the 40th over, Bangladesh still needed another 51 runs to win the game. Mehidy scored an unbeaten 38 and the Fizz scored an unbeaten 11 to chase down the target in 46 overs. This was India’s worst defeat in ODI cricket in recent times.
Heading into the second BAN vs IND ODI, India face a must-win situation and it will be interesting to see they play with what kind of approach after their approach was hugely criticized post the first ODI loss. 
During the series, the three ODIs will start at 12.30 pm IST. The two Test matches start at 9.30 am IST. The live-streaming details of the upcoming series are given below.
