Former England National Cricket Team all-rounder Andrew Flintoff was taken to hospital following a car crash, which took place during the filming of an episode of the BBC’s TV Show ‘Top Gear’.
Flintoff played for England National Cricket Team between 1998-2009. He represented the Three Lions in 79 Tests, 141 ODIs and 7 T20Is. With the bat, he scored 3845 Test runs, 3394 ODI runs and 76 T20I runs. Also, with his pace-bowling, Flintoff bagged 226 Test wickets, 169 ODI wickets and 5 T20I wickets.

Meanwhile, the 45-year-old was involved in the accident on Monday, December 12, while filming with a crew in icy conditions at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey.
In an official statement issued by the BBC, it was asserted that Andrew Flintoff was immediately taken to hospital for treatment after the accident.

“Freddie was injured in an accident at the Top Gear test track this morning – with crew medics attending the scene immediately,” the BBC said in a statement.
“He has been taken to hospital for further treatment and we will confirm more details in due course.”
The injuries sustained by the former England National Cricket Team all-rounder are “not life-threatening” and he was “driving on the track as normal” and was not going at high speed, as per a report in The Sun.
A source told The Sun that Flintoff was airlifted to hospital following the accident and the filming of the episode has been postponed.
“All the usual health and safety measures were in place for filming too,” a source was quoted telling The Sun.
“Freddie was taken to hospital by air ambulance shortly afterwards. Filming has been postponed for now and all anyone cares about is Freddie recovering.”
This is not the first time Andrew Flintoff has been involved in an accident as in 2019 while filming for the show, the former England player survived a 125mph crash. He had later admitted that he “went a few lengths too far”.
