For the first time in the history of Women’s Cricket, a U-19 T20 World Cup is organized. The tournament is scheduled to take place in South Africa and is scheduled from 14th January to 29th January 2023. This tournament is expected to change the dynamics of Women’s Cricket as a total of 16 teams are going to participate in it.
Recently Women’s Cricket witnessed scintillating series between India & England where there was even a contest between bat and ball. India’s Women’s Cricket Team is on a roll as they won the Asia Cup 2022 in tough situations and make their mark.

Women in Blue is all set to play a 5 T20I Match Series against South Africa starting from 27th December to 04th January. This T20I Series would serve as a stepping stone for both sides. All the 5 matches of the Series would be played at Tuks Oval, Pretoria. All eyes would be on the dashing Shafali Verma who has taken the World Cricket by surprise with her scintillating striking ability.

The team should not take the likes of Scotland and UAE lightly as a couple of losses can end their tournament as only the top 3 teams will progress to the Super Six Round.
