Bangladesh take on AUE in a two-match T20I series starting with the first game on September 25. Both the matches will be played in Dubai. Both Bangladesh and UAE are fresh from their respective Asia Cup 2022 campaigns.
While UAE did not qualify for the group stage, Bangladesh did not qualify for the Super 4 stage. Shakib Al Hasan will skip the series as he is busy playing the CPL in the Caribbean. He has been given a NOC by the Bangladesh Cricket Board till October 4. Nurul Hasan will lead the side in his absence. “Shakib is unavailable in UAE,” BCB cricket operation chairman Jalal Yunus confirmed to Cricbuzz on Wednesday.
